A cosmetologist was tried in Vevey for performing injections without authorization, with serious consequences for several patients. In an interview on Forum (RTS), Fabrice Pfulg, president ofACMES, reiterated a simple rule: in Switzerland, only a doctor is allowed to administer injections.

Here’s how to make sure of that.

Check Before Getting an Injection

Who is injecting? The person must be a doctor, not a cosmetologist. That is the basic requirement.

Where? A clinic or doctor’s officeโ€”never a beauty salon or a private residence.

Which product? A product approved by Swissmedic, which the doctor must be able to prescribe.

One final warning: an unusually low price should raise a red flag, as it often indicates a lack of medical oversight. And if you have any concerns after receiving an injection, don’t delay in seeking medical advice.

At Entourage in Lausanne, every injection is administered by a doctor. Make an appointment for a safe treatment or for a second opinion.
