Ioana Ghiurco

Doctor Ioana Ghiurco received her medical degree from the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest in 2015. In 2021, she will graduate as a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Dr Ghiurco has a solid background in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine.

She began her career in private practice as a plastic surgeon at the Regina Maria, Reteaua de Sanatate clinic in Bucharest, alongside her work at the Elias Emergency University Hospital, where she pursued research and teaching activities. In March 2021, she was appointed Assistant Professor at the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest.

In 2022, she travels to Switzerland as part of an ISAPS (International Society for Plastic Surgery) fellowship at Laclinic, Montreux alongside Dr Michel Pfulg. She fell in love with Switzerland and decided to make it her home and career.

In March 2023, she joined Entourage and divides her time between the Lausanne and Verbier clinics.

Her skills include private practice, surgery and intimate aesthetic medicine for women.

Women’s intimate medicine and surgery hold a special place in my practice, as they allow me to support women with issues that are often rarely discussed but can have a significant impact on their comfort, self-confidence, and quality of life.

Every woman is unique, and intimate concerns can vary widely: discomfort during physical activity, discomfort caused by clothing, changes related to pregnancy, aging, or menopause, vaginal dryness, or even body image issues. These situations are common but are often shrouded in taboo; yet they deserve a sympathetic ear and tailored solutions.

What fascinates me about this specialty is the opportunity to provide comprehensive care through innovative and personalized treatments. Intimate radiofrequency can help improve tissue quality and intimate comfort. The hyaluronic acid injections help hydrate the skin and restore volume in certain areas. intimate lipofilling offers a natural solution to restore volume and improve tissue quality. For patients with anatomical or functional discomfort, procedures such as nymphoplasty or majoraplasty can significantly improve daily comfort.

Beyond treatments, my role is first and foremost to listen, understand, and support each patient with compassion. Being able to improve her comfort, well-being, and relationship with her body is one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.
